Diamonds and Flowers and Flatware... Oh My!
Remember the fear expressed by Dorothy when the Tin Man told her that they would possibly run into lions and tigers AND bears? What an unimaginable thing! From the outside looking in, it seems like an incredible opportunity, but when actually having to be the one to face it, you’re not really quite sure what to do. Weddings are kind of in the same realm - there’s a million things to figure out! Where will the wedding take place? What will the colors and theme be? Do you really want your fiance’s cousin to be in the wedding party? We get it - planning a wedding can be overwhelming, to say the least. But fear not! We’re here to make the process smooth and enjoyable for you.
We take pride in providing a memorable experience for our clients, and we want to make sure we get the details just right. To do so, part of our process involves splitting up our time together into two separate meetings. The first meeting looks like more of a consultation (around the office, we refer to this meeting as “Bridal Bites”, but feel free to call it whatever you like!) where we gather in our tasting space and chat over small bites and sparkling wine about your vision. We’ll provide a physical copy of the proposal drawn up so far, as well as a floor plan of your event space, for visual references. We’ll also provide some handy pamphlets that will help make your planning all the more smooth, with information such as venue and vendor suggestions, what you can expect from our company, and a list of guidelines for selecting additional vendors. After this, we’ll gather notes from our meeting, fine tune your proposal, and send it over to you for a final review.
Once you’ve received your updated proposal, you’ll decide what works with your vision and what doesn’t, and we’ll schedule a tasting with you so you can sneak peek what would be served on your big day. Though this meeting will involve less talking than the first (because, let’s face it, who really wants to chat when you’ve got a plate of yummy food in front of you?), we’ll still make sure to go over any new details that might’ve come up since then. You’ll also get a chance to see what type of linens, napkins, and plates/silverware will be used during your reception. After this, you’ll go home and make the big decision - are we “the one”? Hopefully, you’ll say yes and we’ll get to work on helping you plan the best wedding ever.
